The name, in reference to the Kairo series, is derived from the second name for time from Greek mythology — chronos is a designation of time that is logical, orderly and humanly influenced. These objects, like the Kairo series, can be classified as free art. They are pure artistic objects that are already deliberately devoid of function. However, imaginatively, they could be seen as a kind of strange glass clock that measures the passage of time by oxidizing its surface in the environment in which it is situated.

It is a kind of composite reaction of the artist to the rapidly changing climate around us - the surfaces of these objects gradually register the changes that are inscribed in their structure. The clock shows the remaining time of our civilization before we cross a certain threshold by disturbing the natural environment, leading to the uninhabitability of our planet and the unstoppable extinction of species.
So far, aestheticising elements in the form of polished mirrors or cast glass parts represent the irreparable damage or injury we are inflicting globally on nature by our seemingly untouchable civilisation.
